Product Manager Provider Services & Operations (w/m/d)

Full-time | Germany-wide (Remote with occasional meetings in Aachen & at customer sites)

Join us as a Senior Mobile Developer

You own the product area where vehicle operators configure their business models and run their fleets on MOQO. MOQO providers range from small car-sharing clubs to leasing companies and large rental agencies. Today, more than 250 providers and their employees rely on MOQO in their own unique ways.

In this role, you take full ownership of the strategy and success of your product domain. This is an individual contributor role without line management responsibilities. You lead cross-functional teams through product vision, expertise, and influence rather than formal authority.

You will work closely with MOQO colleagues of customer facing teams, UX experts, product managers and engineers to turn provider needs into high-performing, intuitive products while staying close to the B2B customers who use them every day.

We believe that future mobility will look completely different. At MOQO, we empower our clients to operate efficient car-sharing, rental, and subscription services. Our technology enables Mobility-as-a-Service, making flexible vehicle access simple for users and helping shape a more sustainable future of public and corporate mobility.

Your Tasks

  • End-to-End Ownership: Own the Provider Services and Operations area end to end, from identifying provider problems to delivering live, operational outcomes.
  • Simplify Configuration & Self-Service: Make product configuration as simple as possible through intuitive self-service capabilities so providers can convert new business models and experiments into viable mobility products without custom development.
  • ‍Understand Operations & Ecosystem: Gain a deep understanding of providers' daily fleet operations and adjacent systems, including CRM, accounting, and fleet management tools.
  • Scalable Problem Solving: Identify commonalities across different providers and solve each operational need once for many.
  • Automation & Agentic Features: Support providers in achieving operational excellence by driving automation and exploring agentic features (AI agents) to eliminate recurring operational complexity.
  • Shape Product Vision: Connect your day-to-day domain learnings with the bigger picture, actively contributing to and shaping MOQO’s long-term product vision.
  • Key Customer Contact: Become a trusted contact for key MOQO providers by spending time on site, building relationships, and working closely with Key Account Management.
  • AI & Prototyping: Leverage AI for prototyping, discovery, and analysis, building product concepts using MOQO's existing building blocks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product manager peers focused on Driver Journey and Business Accounts to ensure total satisfaction for provider customers.

‍

Your Profile

  • Fleet & Mobility Background: Solid experience in car sharing, vehicle rental, or fleet management. You understand the 24/7 digital rental business across all facets: purchasing, infleeting, fleet operations, and remarketing. International rental experience is a strong plus.
  • Business Acumen: You consistently ask how our customers generate revenue and allow those insights to guide your product decisions.
  • Problem-Solver Mindset: You perform root-cause analysis (asking "why, why, why") before jumping to feature solutions.
  • AI & Agentic Proficiency: You use AI as an everyday tool and understand agentic automation concepts.
  • Impact & Outcome Measurement: You define clear metrics to measure, track, and re-evaluate the success of the products and features you deliver.
  • KPI Knowledge: You are well-versed in key industry metrics such as occupancy, utilization, revenue per car, time-to-rent, damage recovery, and accounts receivable.
  • Migration & Organizational Experience: You have experience guiding migrations and understand the dynamics of both startups and large enterprises.
  • Strong Personality: You possess a confident demeanor and remain calm under pressure.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German skills are required, as you will interact regularly with our German-speaking customer base. English proficiency is a plus.
  • Nice to have: Prior knowledge of MOQO or another shared mobility/car rental platform from an operator's perspective.

‍

What We Offer

Job Application Process

We value transparency at every stage. Here is the process you can expect when applying. After each of the first two steps we let you know whether we both want to continue. Here is the process you can expect when applying:

  1. CV Review: We review your experience to match your skills with our profile requirements.
  1. Casual Coffee Chat: A short virtual coffee break with a team member to say “hello,” answer initial questions, and align on basics like mindset and salary expectations. If it feels right on both sides, we send you the Product Challenge afterwards.
  1. Product Challenge (Async, AI Welcome): Choose one of two realistic case studies. Doing both is welcome, but not expected. Tell us in one sentence why you picked yours.
    1. ‍Case A: Utilization across operating modes. MOQO wants to enable providers to maximize the utilization and performance of their assets (vehicles) across multiple operating modes (e.g., combining car-sharing, rental, and optimizing car subscription / “Auto-Abo”). How would you approach this as a Product Manager, and how would you incorporate stakeholder feedback?
    2. ‍Case B: Parking. Without a place where a vehicle is handed over, nothing gets rented, and vehicles stand still most of the time. Parking is therefore a strategic topic for every operating mode, for utilization and cost, and for visibility in residential areas, where a car on a marked space is also the best advertising. We have our own view of where the platform falls short and want to see how you find the gaps. How would you approach this as a Product Manager, which questions would you ask and whom, and how would you incorporate stakeholder feedback?
    3. Submit a short write-up or deck (max. 5 pages) and an optional prototype. Feel free to explain how you used AI.
    4. Work asynchronously at your own pace and submit whenever you feel ready.
    5. You can email us up to five clarifying questions beforehand; we reply within one working day.
  1. What we evaluate: Problem framing, success metrics, stakeholder involvement (providers, drivers, KAM, support, engineering), prioritization, AI/engineering collaboration, and decision communication. Both cases are evaluated against the same criteria, and neither is the preferred choice.
  1. Feedback: Your submission will be reviewed by your potential teammates, and we will promptly update you on next steps.
  1. Meet the Team (Remote or In-Person): Conversations with future teammates, including the Head of Product, Engineering, Key Account Management, and the CEO, to get to know each other beyond the case and ensure a mutual fit.
